Kemi Daisi, FCT – All things being equal or near equal the National Assembly will pass the 2020 budget before Christmas, this year.

This disclosure was made by the Senate President, Alhaji  Ahmad Lawan (Yobe North, APC ) in Kastina State after paying a courtesy call to Governor Aminu Bello Masari at government house, Kastina.

Lawan explained that the joint arms of the National Assembly was expecting the budget in September and it was his hope that the budget would be deliberated upon and passed by the National Assembly in a space of two months. With this, he stated that the country would return to the tradition of having her budgets ready by January.

Likewise,  Lawan also promised Nigerians that the much delayed Petroleum Industry Bill for the oil and gas sector would be passed into law.
